O’Reilly has made the decision to suspend our advertising and company posts on Facebook as of July 1. Although Facebook took a necessary step in the right direction this past Friday, we believe there is still much room for improvement. When we see Facebook take additional steps to stem the spread of hate speech, misinformation, and harmful content, we will return to the platform. https://oreil.ly/9qkdA

We support Facebook’s core mission and believe the company when it says its goal is to bring people together in meaningful ways. We also believe that hate speech, misinformation, and harmful content are antithetical to that goal. Facebook must take additional steps to prevent their spread.
