Bluebills March 28th Meeting
Umpqua Bank, 333 SW 7th St.
Renton, WA

Parking is at the Back of the Bank. The meeting room is on the second floor. To access the meeting room, you enter by way of the main bank entrance. Immediately inside the entrance on the left is stairs to the second floor and on the right is the elevator. The meeting room is next to the elevator on the second floor. Bathrooms are accessible through a door to a hallway from the right side of the meeting room.

Jim Beasley has scheduled a very interesting presentation, and the facility is very nice…We look forward to seeing you on the 28th.

- Katherine Edwards from KCTS-9. KCTS 9 is a service of Cascade Public Media, a group of media organizations committed to helping the Northwest learn, grow, and make a difference.
KCTS-9 began broadcasting in 1954 and became a part of Cascade Public Media (CPM) in 2018. Katherine's presentation will address CPM’s extensive outreach to the community, streaming
and future plans.

The Chapter Meeting, November 17, 2023, is a presentation by The Medic One Foundation, whose mission is to save lives by improving pre-hospital emergency care. This presentation "The Red Truck" by Sara Oshikawa-Clay has had great reviews by some of our members -- please join us!
Join us, and bring a non-perishable food item which will be given to a different food bank each month.

Chapter Meeting June 30th Presentation
“Can You Hear Me?” The speaker for June will be Rick Faunt from the Hearing Loss Association of America, Washington office.
Rick has been a member of HLAA, in its several names, since 1996. He has held every office at the Chapter and State level and is currently the Chapter Treasurer. He is a retired Boeing worker and consultant/installer of various Assistive Listening Systems for the Hard of Hearing. Rick will address several topics on resources, assistance, and services for the deaf and hard of hearing, including the impact of recent government legislation. As seniors, we all have been affected in some way by hearing issues and should find this presentation very informative.

The meeting is just in time for the VFW Post 1263 CLOTHING and TOY DRIVE!
Our meeting site's host, the VFW Post 1263, is having a “slightly used” (or new) clothing drive for homeless Veterans.
At the same time, it is having a toy drive for Joint Base Lewis McChord and probably Toys for Tots through the Marine Corps.
If you have any items for the clothing drive or toys for the toy drive, please bring them to our December meeting they will appreciate your donation.
