Big night for the big Duckworth and Team SeaBeast as we entered the largest chinook in the event which pulled the scales down to 26 pounds and a big win in the Buoy 10 Challenge! Now on to tomorrow’s Lipstick Salmon slayer event!

The Duckworth SeaBeast is safe and sound in Port McNeill. Time to launch and prep for tomorrow’s crossing to Fitzhugh Sound and into River’s Inlet where our friends will be waiting to welcome us. All reports are unanimously enthusiastic. The kings are huge and plentiful with piles of northern coho spicing up the action!

Congratulations to my friend on his career best 51 pound chinook. Long time salmon anglers will be interested to know that this was Ryan’s first trip to and the first salmon fishing trip of his life! Thankfully he’s a passionate outdoorsman and avid east coast/Gulf angler and played this monster king like a PRO!
