This winter has been a breeze at the cabin, thanks to its ease of heating. To tackle the chilly floor, I've added an area rug, which will do the trick until spring. The bedroom's slightly cooler temperature is actually a welcome perk. I'm looking forward to installing skirting in the spring, which will eliminate the cold floor issue altogether. Even at -10 degrees, the cabin remains cozy, with the gas lights doing an excellent job. I've also got plans to install a sink and pitcher pump, and while the 2 1/2 mile trek can be challenging in winter, I'm confident that with the right gear, it'll be manageable.
