I use to read this believing my confession was in some way making known to God who I am or what I had done. I now understand not only does He know who I am but He also knows what I’m going to do. And of the latter before I do it. My confession is more so to free me from myself and the prison of my conscious that’s makes me hide, lie or continue in deception. When you own/confess your sins you’re free from self-judgment and the unweighted judgement of others. With Him your accountability allows Him to give you His peace, you’ll never be perfect but your imperfection doesn’t deny you His perfect love.

Throughout life I’ve seen believers and unbelievers turn to God and acknowledge the name of Jesus when in despair. Even when I myself go astray and believe me I do time and time again the theme of this scripture holds truth. As I age in the physical and in wisdom I realize I’m always afraid, so everyday I’m giving breathe to breath I acknowledge Him and understand that insodoing I’m secure.

Though I no longer pursue a life of perfection that don’t mean I can’t live a life in perfection. In my many years around the sun I’ve come to realize life happens, people be peopling and I’m prune to make bad choices and mistakes. But the perfection of it all is in the love of God and that love won’t change no matter what I do, what people do or whatever I’m going through. I’m secure, I’m worthy and more importantly I’m His. So through it all I preserve cause I know I’m safe in a love so perfect I have to admit I don’t deserve it.

Crazy how we trust the most untrustworthy people same ones that let us down time and time again. Even more those who take advantage of our trust in them, who can’t even keep a promise to themselves much less anybody else. But we can’t trust God.

This is still hard for me myself so I’ll open my heart to my experience in this area. It’s always seemed like it’s never my time are just that I was designed to wait. I went through a lot in life which had a lot more to do with my investment of bad decisions if I’m honest. But other parts were about things not in my control or things that I was completely unaware of; I’m older now, matured in my faith a few more years from first experience of hearing Him reply “wait” to me and I finally understand the fullness of His blessings. Sure waiting when done well wields more patience, but what I also learned is that when your waiting truthfully in Him you gain discipline, instruction, character, emotional balance/stability and more importantly the fullness of His peace. Sometimes what I waited for I realized I really didn’t want or really didn’t need to begin with. We human, He knows that, don’t let the world tell you that because you hate waiting your wrong instead understand its how you wait. I do mine waiting with expectant Faith. Cause I trust God enough to know what’s for me is for me. It’s not of if I’ll get it but matter of will I know how to handle what I receive.

Don’t ever give up on prayer. And trust the response necessary is the one God will give. He’s never inactive. The Bible says the sun rises on the just and the unjust so He’s always blessing, always fixing and always moving; tending to His creation. When we pray we’re not making Him aware of what we need or what we’re going through more so acknowledging the faith that He’s already provided or will provide the solution we need in the time it’s needed. Trust God even when trusting makes question your reality and pray continually.

I’ve had good days and bad days, some definitely harder than others. I was taught it’s how you pray, then it became when you pray. Can’t say none of the teachings or instruction I’ve received weren’t right but I can definitely tell you I struggled to see if it was right for me. Hard times still felt hard and the struggle never seemed to go away. That was until I changed the posture of my heart and that before who I’m praying to. When I began to feel and hear the words I prayed my gratefulness, praise and desire of forgiveness became genuine. Even if the situation never changed my interaction with God in exchange was still healing. What I’m saying is we must pray daily and pray intimately. Be transparent and let Him in. Let that be a conversation between you and Him and He knows your conversation style. He knows your heart, He wants to expose you to it. It’s freeing that way. Trust me than you know He heard everything you had to say.

My time in the Bible has not been without consequence. Because of traditions I’d been raised in and opinions of the results thereof it was times I felt God to be unbothered or unaware of me. What I’ve come to realize is that I was completely wrong. Wrong about my interpretation/understanding, in practice/application and in expectation. It wasn’t God that was inactive it was me continuing in my own way, continuing the practice of a family history of generational curses and my inability to be accountable to who I am; with that the who/what was hurting me. If I want the results as depicted by scripture I have to be true in practice of application to said scripture. Not perfect cause the only man that was and is perfect to walk this earth is Jesus. But true, pure in intention and honest in my reason. Check my heart posture and plow the ground till the weeds are removed and good seed is planted. Be blessed.

I know I know the reference of this scripture typically associates with finances. But are we limiting God’s Word to make Him transactional? What if by chance we apply this to every area of wealth we’ve been blessed to receive? I believe by doing so we’d not only experience God’s Word by revelation. But also in fullness receiving the essence of heaven on earth.

I’ve come realize that those don’t do are the ones that allow the lies within them or from those around to hold them back. My dream was divinely made for me. What you see as a limitation, I see as an opportunity for my creator to reveal Himself by way of a Faith blessing. Isaiah 41:10

Perseverance. Even if it hasn’t happened for you yet that doesn’t mean it never will. God got plans for us and it’s not according to our timeline or schedule but His. Keep grinding!!!
