Terrible accident along Lumley Beach road. Two people dead as vehicle somersaulted. Incident started at OFFICE nightclub yesterday evening when someone allegedly threw a bottle of alcohol at popular musician LAJ of Red Flag Movement. Fracas resulted in uproar at the club with supporters of LAJ and of another musical label taking themselves on in 'beefing' which lasted throughout the night at various locations and continued this morning at the Lumley Beach. Gunshots were reported to have been fired at some point or the other whilst another person lost his ear. Details of what caused the vehicle to somersault are not too clear but what is clear is that the supporters of the other music label were chasing LAJ in his own vehicle when their vehicle somersaulted by the Police Post near ATLANTIC beach bar. I just spoke to LAJ who is at the Congo Cross Police station making a report of the incident and he denies firing any gun. LAJ says he does not know the person who attacked him at OFFICE nightclub and alleges the person was taking out some anger at him and others at the OFFICE nightclub over a woman. Other reports allege that LAJ knows the person who has so far been described only as ‘Big Fish’. My reporters are on the ground at the beach taking photographs of the incident and of the two dead bodies who died when the vehicle somersaulted. The scene is jam-packed with spectators gathering as the minutes go by.
