Every drink we set in front of someone will be received differently. I personally have a passion for serving people something that will get a reaction. My co-workers have had MANY reactions to the experimental drinks that I put down in front of them. I have a reputation for combining unconventional ingredients with espresso... I really just want us all to have a good time and the drink doesn’t alwayyyyyys have to be the best for us to have fun drinking it. To be continued...

However, this is not an article about bad drinks. Its actually about some really amazing espresso based cocktails. No experimenting needed!

Ever have an espresso recipe that you just can’t seem to pull away from? Lately I have found myself going back to brewing most blends at this…

Basket size: 17g
Machine temp: 201F
In: 18.5g
Out: 30-32g
Time: 30sec

I like it because it’s syrupy without the harsher punch of getting too close to a ristretto for a medium roast blend. It seems to work espresso well if the blend has chocolate, nut and fruit notes. Curious to know if anyone else is brewing with this kind of blend and enjoying a curtain recipe!

Espresso grind size. The finer we go with our grind size the denser and more striking our espresso will become. Whereas when we go coarse with our grind size the espresso will be softer and have more clarity. Everyone looks to celebrate different flavors or characteristics of the coffee they are brewing.
