Neighborhood Sentinel.

Seattle number 5 is a telephone switching office and part of the AT&T Long Lines microwave network. It’s uniquely perched atop Queen Anne Hill and stuffed between homes and apartments in a very residential neighborhood. It’s my favorite site — not only for its juxtaposition amongst the homes and trees — but its seriously mid-century design.

I love it so much, I dug deep into my DNA — utilizing fathers past skills as an architect and built my own version from cardboard.
