When you think of an action hero, who comes to mind? Selvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Lee?

Vish Iyer, an LA-based actor, challenges this stereotype, making us reimagine action heroes. Vish will make his big break in Hollywood as a lead action hero in the film ‘American Warrior,’ inspired by his personal redemption story.

The movie includes big names like Danny Trejo and premiered on Sunday, November 24th, in IIFI (International Film Festival of India), Goa—the Cannes Festival of India. It is set to release in theatres in Spring 2025.

Maheen The Globe LLC is dedicated to Maheen Mustafa’s (Editor-in-Chief/Founder) grandmother Professor Naseem Shah who passed away last year. She was the Principal/Dean of Karachi-based Sir Syed Ahmed College. She was a writer, fighter for women’s empowerment, women’s education and took active part in Pakistan’s teacher’s movement. She’s a mother of eight. She would write a journal every night. Her written Op-Ed’s have appeared in Dawn News paper. Her writing stopped when she suffered from a stroke, later died of Alzheimer's/Dementia. Maheen The Globe will take her legacy forward.
