It's MamaMindset Monday (I dunno, it's a working title...I'll keep kicking it around)
We're currently in the thick of it, back to school tumultuous election cycle and staring down the barrel to Winter (which in my opinion is the hardest season of motherhood because you're limited on readily available experiences).
There's a lot on our plates and even more going on in our heads.
Finding clarity is key to understand what you need to empower yourself and be the version of you that lives her best life.
As we move in to thie potentially chaotic quarter of the year I want to touch base and see what you guys need.
I have spent a lot of time collecting data and resources to give you access to living at your full potential as not only a mom but your ideal self.

Allow me to take up a some of your time to give you some insight on what exactly I am doing here.
Three years ago I decided to take my accumulated knowledge and years of experience I dealing with my own mental health journey and start helping other moms. I started by investing in a life coaching certification but realized that those programs weren’t specific enough for what I wanted to do accomplish. I sought out other certifications and also started pouring into my podcast and talking about the hard parts of motherhood.
Fast forward and I’ve decided on the eve of 40 that it’s time for me to make bigger waves, be loud and make the change I want to see in the world. So here is what you can expect and how you can work with me:
I am re-inventing the Mama Needs Me Time podcast and actively seeking moms to talk about the tricky and icky parts of motherhood.
I am tweaking and breaking down my coaching programs into bite size portions to be more consumable and useful for moms looking to take the next step and change.
I am creating content that gives you a quick snacks to reset and recharge.

168, there is 168 hours in a week you should be able to take at least one for yourself right?
Sometimes it feels like it’s wishful thinking, but you can either take this post about power hours and use it all at once, or utilize it to break up sometime during your week.
Being intentional with your free time is the best way to recharge and refresh your mindset and your ability to focus on the tasks that matter.
Moving your body is exceptionally important to raise your awareness of your overall well-being. Also stop the dooms, growing, obviously after you finish reading this post, but sometimes putting your phone away is the mental reset you need!
I’ll never stop preaching the importance of journaling and as a former lease of Frank trapper keeper collector I think we can all agree millennials love their notebooks so handy and what you’re thinking about so you can continue to have perspective on where things are for you mentally!
It’s cliché, but time is what you make it! So, make the most of it !

modern moms are stuck between tradition and innovation when it comes to figuring out how to deal with the chaos and ins and outs of parenting. Information is at our fingertips with social media, but it also can be overwhelming. So I put together three quick tips to deal with the chaos and keep things positive when handling tricky situations .
These tips help you get through and also help you to recognize how to handle things in a way that will make parenting, feel lighter, and sometimes easier …

This crap is hard….
Between shifting schedules, more daylight to burn and spring fever in full power the easiest thing to push to the back burner is taking care of yourself.
As a wife, mom and business owner I can attest that sometimes things get a little jumbled.
Remember that self care can be simple, it doesn’t have to be a whole day, it doesn’t even have to be a full hour.
Take a deep breathe and focus on yourself for even 30 seconds, take inventory and figure out what you need to recharge and reset!
It sounds shallow but you got this!

As a mom but especially a woman you know that everyday is not rainbows and sunshine.
It is ok to not love every moment but it is important to learn from them.
That’s why I created this post to give you a quick reference or reminders on how you can deal with tough days. It’s a step in the right direction to have awareness and be able to recognize when you need to take a step back and focus on you!
The balancing act of motherhood is tricky and prioritizing yourself is no longer top of mind and it doesn’t have to be the full time norm, however, you can’t pour from an empty cup(my true favorite and overused cliche of mom life) so give yourself some grace!!
Talk about it with your friends because girl let me tell you they are going through it too!

setting easy goals is the best way to keep your expectations from becoming over whelming!
Focus on what you’re already doing and making tiny adjustments and make that a “goal” for the next four weeks!
Goals give you something to look forward to and focus on to keep you happy and prioritize yourself!

What gives you the right?!
Someone asked me that, in a DM last week when I said self-care doesn’t have to be complicated and it doesn’t have to be a full-time investment… I’ll tell you what gives me the right… I’m a mom, a mom who has battled mental health for a long time, and a mom who decided that it would no longer define but instead empower me to make a difference!
In the whirlwind of motherhood, every moment is a juggle, you need to remember to embrace simplicity. 🌱✨
Self-Care is not about grand gestures, but the small acts of love we give ourselves amidst the chaos. A quick walK, a soothing cup of herbal tea w\, or a few moments of deep breathing as you transition from one task to the next—these are the threads that weave the tapestry of our well-being.
Find joy in the little things: a five-minute journal entry to reflect on your day, a playlist of your favorite songs to sing along to during chores, or even just sitting in silence for a moment before the household wakes up. Indulge in a warm bath with a few drops of lavender oil when the night falls, or steal a moment for a short meditation session while your little ones nap. And never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep, even if it means going to bed early with the dishes still in the sink.
Let’s redefine self-care to fit into the pockets of our busy lives, making it as essential as feeding our children and just as non-negotiable. Because to nurture others, we must first nurture ourselves. Let’s keep self-care manageable because even superheroes need to recharge. 💖👩‍👧‍👦

Embrace the journey of self-care and self-love with every move you make! 🌟 Here are the three ways to keep moving your body simple and how you can embrace the ultimate act of kindness to yourself:

1️⃣ Do what you love: walk in your neighborhood, get a stationary bike, or simple home equipment. If it’s available it’s easier to use.

2️⃣ Don’t compare your workouts to what you USE to do, time has passed, you may be more tired, you may be older. Give yourself grace as you try something different!

3️⃣ IDon’t take too much time!! 5,10, 15 minutes don’t let the act of exercise consume too much of your valuable time (at first). Don’t make it an obligation or a burden or it will become something you’ll avoid!

Let’s move towards a happier, healthier you! 💖
