Goldmine Magazine did a great feature about Chatwin author (and former rocker) Susan Lynch’s latest book, 'Into the All Empty.'

“Susan Lynch’s book of poems, ‘Into the All Empty,’ is thought-provoking and soothing, a sophisticated transition from her rock songwriting.” - Warren Kurtz

November 1st marks the first day of National American Indian Heritage Month!

At Salmonberry—an imprint of Chatwin Books centered around publishing books and educational resources by Indigenous authors and for Indigenous communities—our vision is a world where Indigenous ways of knowing the world are woven through all K-12 education, and where traditional knowledge that is appropriate to share, is available to all. This month we intend to continue working towards this vision while celebrating the traditions, languages, and stories of Indigenous peoples across the country.

Today we’re highlighting THE COLLECTED POEMS OF MARGUERITE YOUNG. A project 35 years in the making, this book was co-published by Chatwin Books and Sublunary Editions.

Marguerite Young began her career as a lyric poet, working almost exclusively in the form until the mid-1940s, when she incorporated prose into her style.

Included in this volume are Young’s two poetry collections, PRISMATIC GROUND (1937) and MODERATE FABLE (1944), uncollected poems that appeared in magazines, and a trove of previously unpublished poems including “I Heard a Bird”, which she penned at the age of nine.
