MY HUSBAND CREATED A NEW SCHEDULE FOR ME TO "BECOME A BETTER WIFE"

So, Jake and I had a pretty solid marriage for the first few years — until he started hanging out with this guy from work, Steve. Steve was this loudmouth from Jake's work, with no girlfriend, no wife, but he somehow knew everything about marriage. And Jake? He started listening. Suddenly, he's coming home with all these "tips" Steve gave him.

Then one day, Jake walks in with this stack of papers, grinning like he just cracked the code to life. He hands it to me, I look down and see the title: "Lisa's Weekly Routine for Becoming a Better Wife." My jaw just about hit the floor. Jake had actually gone ahead and written down a whole schedule for me, based on Steve's "brilliant" ideas.

The list was INSANE. I'm supposed to wake up at 5 a.m. every day, make Jake breakfast, then head to the gym to "stay in shape." After that, I'm supposed to clean the house, do laundry, cook dinner, and make snacks for him and his friends when they come over. I was beyond mad, but I didn't let it show. Instead, I smiled and said, "Sure, babe, I'll get right on it."

Little did he know, I was already plotting my payback. The next day, when Jake came home from work, there was a surprise for him on the kitchen counter. ⬇️

I RESCUED A MAN IN A STORM 20 YEARS AGO – HE KNOCKED ON MY DOOR YESTERDAY HOLDING A FOLDER IN HIS HANDS

It’s been 20 years since that poor man in tattered clothes left my house, saying, "ONE DAY, I'LL REPAY YOUR KINDNESS." Back then, I never imagined he actually would—and in such an incredible way!

So yesterday, I was just sitting at home when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and saw a man standing there.

"CAN I HELP YOU?" I asked, a little confused.

"I THINK YOU ALREADY DID—MANY YEARS AGO," he said with a warm smile.

"JAMES?" I asked, suddenly recognizing him.

"YES. I'VE SPENT YEARS TRYING TO FIND YOU, AND NOW I'M HERE TO KEEP MY PROMISE," he said, handing me a folder.

When I opened it, my jaw dropped ⬇️

THIS IS MY HUSBAND LEAVING ME AND OUR SON IN ECONOMY CLASS AFTER HE SECRETLY UPGRADED HIMSELF TO BUSINESS – HE REGRETTED IT SO MUCH A FEW DAYS LATER.

My husband John and I were all set to fly to his parents with our adorable, if a bit rowdy, two-year-old. John's been moaning about needing a "break" for ages. Little did I know, he meant a break from US!

So there we were at the airport, me juggling our little whirlwind and our mountain of bags, when John pulled a vanishing act. Guess where he shows up? At the boarding gate, cool as you like, with a bombshell — he'd upgraded himself to business class! Left us squished in economy! His excuse? "I can't deal with you and the kid right now. I NEED SOME PEACE AND QUIET FOR ONCE."

My blood was boiling. I spent the flight wrestling with our son and our bags while Mr. Peace-and-Quiet was living it up with champagne in business class.

When we got to his parents, I played it cool and didn't want to stir a fuss. But OH, did karma catch up with him?! A few days in, John went as white as a ghost because his. Check in the comments👇👇
