Thinking about our friends, customers, and supporters in LA who’ve been impacted by the Eaton Fire in Altadena and Pasadena has been heavy on my heart.

The challenges they’re facing are unimaginable, and I wanted to find a way to help.

That’s why I’ve designed something special: two stickers to support relief efforts. One features California’s iconic blue and gold hues, and the other highlights the beautiful poppy, their state flower—both symbols of hope, resilience, and love. 🌼💙

100% of profits from these stickers will go directly to fire relief efforts, helping victims rebuild their lives and communities.

I’ve been so inspired by the outpouring of love and support for those affected by the fires. Seeing people come together to make a difference shows the strength and compassion in this incredible community. I’m beyond grateful to use this platform to give back.

It’s Holiday Market season and we couldn’t be more excited!!! 😀🎄

Our first (and biggest) event is this weekend at Julefest at the Nordic Museum.

We are currently behind the scenes making ornaments, and earrings, and counting books and stickers. It is all hands on deck this week. 🥰

Four books!?!?! 📚❤️

Crazy what can happen with one idea, a few years and continuous action. ✨⭐️💫

My business started selling ornaments and stickers. It was the sweetest thing when kids would come buy my products with their own money.

Sharing the inspiration behind my designs became an obvious next step in my journey.

Even though I had never written a book before I didn’t want that to be a reason to stop me. So I got to work researching, and talking to people.

Next thing I knew my book was live and quickly became an Amazon bestseller in all of its categories. I was getting the sweetest most inspiring messages from friends, family,and complete strangers.

It was just the motivation I needed to keep going. Here I am with four books feeling so proud and grateful. ❤️❤️❤️

This Norwegian proverb made me smile 😀

As the leaves are changing and the sky is more grey. This is such a great reminder that even during these cozy overcast days the blue sky is still there. 🌈

We are essentially just one cloud away from a sunny day. ☀️

I love enjoying the cold and rainy weather with a good movie, warm blanket and beautiful fire.

Let's go on a journey into the creation of Anna, the main character from my children's books! 📚💖 ⁠

This is where the behind the scenes magic happens. 🌈👩‍🎨⁠

First of all - yes, that is a real picture of me in the lunch line at school in the 80's. 😀⁠
⁠
The inspiration of Anna came from a combination of me as a little girl and Reese as a little girl. ⁠
⁠
My character creation steps:⁠
1. Summarize Anna's personality and traits; happy, playful, curious, cherishes her relationship with her grandma, loves dogs⁠
⁠
2. Compile real life photos that helps to guide the illustrations⁠
⁠
3. Pick out colors and outfits for Anna (Reese and I love working on this step together)⁠
⁠
4. Emelie (illustrator) creates rough sketches⁠
⁠
5. Once sketches are approved Emelie creates color drawings of each character.⁠
⁠
6. Final illustration is complete with details, shading, and color, to represent Anna's personality and character. ⁠
⁠
I love watching the creation of watching her playful personality begin to jump off the page. 😍💫 ⁠
⁠

Fika is about taking time to recharge and enjoy the company around you, a sweet reminder to slow down in our fast-paced world. ⁠

When I was in high school I worked for a team that took Fika breaks. At first I hated it. I really wanted to get my work done and I no interest in sitting around making small talk.⁠
⁠
Fast forward three months and it was one of my favorite things. My colleagues who were strangers of all ages were now friends and advocates. I also found I had so much clarity after taking a ten minute break and I worked so much more efficiently. ⁠

So whether you’re sharing a good conversation or simply appreciating a quiet moment, embracing fika is a beautiful way to enhance your day. ❤️⁠
