I RETURNED HOME FROM MY DAUGHTER'S FUNERAL TO FIND A TENT IN MY BACKYARD.

A week ago, my 8-year-old daughter, Lily, passed away from cancer. The funeral was as devastating as you'd expect. By the time I got home, I was emotionally drained, but when I pulled into the driveway, I froze. There was a huge tent in my backyard. Bright and circus-like.

On the day of my daughter's funeral? It felt like a cruel joke.

I couldn't understand who would do this. My heart pounded as I pulled back the tent flap. Inside, there was a bundle wrapped in a blanket, just like Lily's hospital one. My eyes filled with tears. I thought it was some twisted prank.

But then the bundle moved. ⬇️

MY DIL RETURNED MY CAR BADLY DAMAGED AFTER VISITING HER FRIEND AND REFUSED TO PAY FOR REPAIRS

My daughter-in-law and I don't have the best relationship. I've always tried to get along with her, but it's been tough. My son usually takes her side, which doesn't bother me much — I get it, he learned that from his father, who always had my back no matter what.

Anyway, recently she wanted to visit a friend in another city, and I decided to be nice and lend her my car. Well, you should've seen the state it came back in a week later! Scratched, dented, filthy! The inside smelled like a dump!

I lost it and told her she needed to pay for the repairs and cleaning. But can you believe she had the nerve to say the car was already in that condition.

I realized that arguing might push my son away, so I decided to teach Layla a lesson instead. I spent the night researching online and stumbled across an incredible idea. A quick call to the nearby pet shop, and my plan was in motion ⬇️
