Well, today was our last day. There were some things we couldn't get so we set them outside for FREE in front of the shop! Please stop by and see if there is anything you might want. It will really help me out. I tried to get a bulk trash pick up scheduled but none of the companies got back to me today. I'll be looking for bulk trash pick up again on Sunday afternoon so if you have any recommendations for the Scurry area please let me know. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us. Good morning y'all. It is with my deepest regret, I have to inform you all that we will be permanently closing our doors at the end of this month. I will be open this weekend and part of next week to sell off whatever I can to recoup some money. I want to thank everyone who came to the shop and showed us support. I really do appreciate it. Things have just gotten too hard for me to be able to continue. If everyone who see this could please stop by and buy one thing from us one last time, it would really help me out. I cannot afford to offer discounts so there will be no sales but this is your last opportunity to come out and show us that small town love. Oooppss!! Someone forgot to take their bolt cutters and grinder they left by the back wheel of one of our Uhaul trucks. They either left in a hurry or planned to come back and either steal the truck or cut the CAT off. Better luck next time guys!! Thanks for the Bolt Cutters and Grinder!! They are now for sale at Scurry Hometown Hardware. 😆
Keep an eye out on your properties y'all! We have already had 2 Tow Dollies stolen from my store and now they were trying to take more from me. We will be waiting for you now.....I won't put up with this anymore.

Hey everyone. I want to apologize for being closed a lot recently. I've had personal things going on and it's been affecting my ability to be at the shop. I'm sure you know that life can get in the way of things sometimes. I'll be closed this weekend but we will be open with new store and Uhaul hours starting Monday. We will be open 8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday starting next week. I'm going to do my best to kick things into high gear and get things straightened out. Thank you to those of you that have supported us this far and I look forward to seeing you in the shop. Thank you all and I hope you have a great weekend.

I just tried out the solar glasses with the cloud cover and you can still see the sun a bit! The clouds are moving east so hopefully in the next hour it will be sunny!!

Good morning y'all and Happy Solar Eclipse day!💥 🌖🌑🌔💥 Well we are finally on the countdown to the big event and I still have 3 Eclipse Tshirts left! 2 medium and one XL in various styles. Come by the shop today before noon and I'll give a pair of solar glasses for free with the purchase of a shirt!! I also dropped off a few boxes of glasses at the Exxon Tiger Mart on 175 if anyone still needs some. I hope everyone gets to witness this once in a lifetime event and has a safe time. We just got in our Solar Eclipse Glasses so be sure to stop by and see us and grab a pair before they are gone. We have them at 3$ a piece. I'm also working on getting Eclipse Tshirts in probably next week. This is going to be a once in a lifetime event for our area so get ready for it now!! Good morning y'all! I hope everyone stayed safe and warm through this cold snap. We have closed the shop the last 2 days due to frozen pipes. I'm going to try and open the shop a little later this morning so we will see how it goes. I'm sorry we weren't open for y'all but frozen pipes mean no restroom for us. Even leaving the water dripping in the sink just froze the sink and faucet. We will try to be open this afternoon so please come by and see us!

Hey y'all! We have Santa's Helpers at the shop today through Saturday! They are offering to help build any toys for kids that parents may not have the time or tools to do so. This is completely free of charge but tips are always appreciated!! If you're in need of some assistance with that bicycle for your kiddo, come on by and let them take that stress off of you.
