The Times-Tribune Athlete of the Week Elk Lake cross country runner Kendel Jones joins hosts Joe Baress and Joby Fawcett to discuss his individual state silver at the PIAA Class 1A championships, Elk Lake’s team title, what it means to be a part of the Warriors, the influence of his family in the sport, transitioning from sport to sport, as he also plays basketball and runs track and field, and more.

We also discuss Montrose tennis star Cara Evans capturing the state singles title and Scranton Prep’s Lily Lengyel and Emma Cuck winning doubles gold, the high school soccer postseason, including another phenomenal performance from Lilia Calvert and the Abington Heights girls team and the Abington Heights boys capturing the district title, and the high school volleyball and field hockey playoffs.
