Re-watch this Eye-Opening Interview in Light of Current Deportations

In August 2024, we had the privilege of sitting down with Corey F. Terry, a retired Green Beret and Special Operations Combat Medic, and Michael Yon, a seasoned war correspondent and former Green Beret, to discuss the dire situation at the U.S. southern border.

This wasn't just an interview; it was a wake-up call about what they describe as a "border war" with tens of thousands crossing monthly, impacting our national security and local communities profoundly. Michael Yon, with his firsthand experience from the Darien Gap, shed light on the perilous journeys migrants endure and the broader implications for our nation.

Important Note: Due to the sensitive content, YouTube removed our full interview, labeling it as "medical misinformation." A censored version is available on YouTube, but we urge you to watch the uncensored full interview on Rumble and X for the complete, unfiltered truth.

Given the recent deportations happening now, this conversation is more relevant than ever. It's crucial to understand the depth of this crisis and its long-term effects on America.

A Guatemalan migrant was arrested after allegedly tossing a lit match on a sleeping woman in a Coney Island F train, then sitting across from her to watch the gruesome killing.

Police caught him after a witness spotted him riding another train near 34th Street.

Surveillance footage shows cops briefly talking to the suspect right after Sunday's 7:30 AM attack, but let him go—only realizing later he was the killer they sought.

The victim's clothes were completely burned off.

MTA worker:

"That's messed up—it's only three days until Christmas."

The case marked the second fatality on a New York subway Sunday.

🚨🚨How Spruce Street Got Renamed “Biden Street”

In a move that reeks of political sycophancy, the Scranton City Council in 2021 decided to rename one of its most historic streets, Spruce Street, to Biden Street, even before President Joe Biden's term had run its course. This decision, made on July 20, 2021, following the formation of an ad hoc committee on February 2 of the same year, raises several eyebrows for reasons that go beyond mere civic pride.

To shed light on this decision, we are sharing an unedited video that captures both the introduction and the passing of the resolution. This video is presented in its entirety, providing an authentic look at the proceedings without any alterations or cuts, allowing you to witness firsthand the council's eagerness to honor a still-serving president.

Firstly, the act of renaming a street after a living president, particularly one still in office, sets a dangerous precedent. It suggests a lack of foresight and an eagerness to curry favor rather than honor historical significance with the respect of hindsight. Streets named after individuals are typically a tribute to their complete body of work or contributions, not an endorsement during mid-term.

Moreover, the timing of this decision is particularly questionable. With the recent news of President Biden commuting the sentence of former Luzerne County judge Michael Conahan, involved in the notorious "Kids-for-Cash" scandal, announced on December 12, 2024, one must question the judgment of those who rushed to rename Spruce Street. This commutation casts a shadow over the integrity of any accolades given prematurely to Biden, highlighting how honors can be seen as opportunistic rather than meritorious.

The economic and logistical impact on local businesses cannot be understated. Businesses on Spruce Street, now Biden Street, faced the burden of changing their addresses across all forms of communication, from letterheads to digital marketing, without any clear benefit. This move was less about celebrating a local hero and more about making a political statement at the expense of local commerce.

The lack of public engagement in this decision further demonstrates the disconnect between the council and the community. There was significant pushback from residents and business owners, yet the council proceeded, seemingly prioritizing political allegiance over community consensus.

In essence, the premature renaming of Spruce Street to Biden Street was not just a misstep; it was an overt act of political pandering. It reflects poorly on those council members who voted for the change, suggesting they value immediate political optics over the long-term identity and welfare of their city. This should serve as a reminder that honors like these should be reserved for when history can fully judge the legacy of an individual, not when they are still actively shaping it, potentially for better or worse.

In light of recent events and the news of Hunter Biden’s presidential pardon going back to January 1st, 2014, it’s hard not to reflect on the stark contrasts in how justice is served in this country. Earlier this year, we sat down with Frank Scavo, a January 6th prisoner, to hear his side of the story and learn about the consequences he faced for his actions.

This interview dives deep into Frank’s experiences, the complexities of justice in America, and the double standards many believe exist in our system today. As debates rage on about accountability and fairness, this conversation feels more relevant than ever.

In this hard-hitting episode of What A Week, we dive into the ongoing budget crisis in Lackawanna County with an incredible panel of guests who’ve dedicated themselves to tackling this issue head-on. Joining us this week are Republican Commissioner Chris Chermak, his solicitor PJ LaBelle, retired CPA Carlon Preate, and retired professional Len Dobrzyn. These individuals have worked voluntarily over the past five years as part of a Budget Study Commission led by Commissioner Chermak to address the county’s financial woes.

The discussion comes at a critical time, as the Democratic commissioners, Matt McGloin and Bill Gaughan, prepare to pass a 33% tax increase—a figure that many, including our guests, believe is unnecessarily high. The Budget Study Commission has proposed ways to reduce the tax increase to just over 6%, with even more savings potentially on the table.

We explore how the county got to this financial crossroads, including the behaviors and decisions that led to the current predicament. Our guests provide an inside look into the behind-the-scenes challenges and political dynamics that complicate solutions. Importantly, they share actionable ideas for moving forward and ensuring taxpayers are not unfairly burdened.

We also discuss the partisan divide in county governance, with Commissioner Chermak seeking collaboration but reportedly being boxed out by the Democratic majority. Additionally, we cover the inappropriate comments directed at private citizens and Commissioner Chermak during recent public meetings, shedding light on how these behaviors impact public trust and governance.

This episode is a must-watch for anyone concerned about fiscal responsibility, local politics, and the future of Lackawanna County.

🚨 New Episode: Tackling the Lackawanna County Budget Crisis 🚨

This week on What A Week, we sit down with Commissioner Chris Chermak, PJ LaBelle, Carlon Preate, and Len Dobrzyn, who’ve been working for years to help address the county’s financial challenges. Together, they’ve volunteered their time to find solutions that could significantly reduce the proposed 33% tax increase currently under consideration.

In this episode, we explore how the county got here, the findings from their Budget Study Commission, and how they’ve identified ways to cut the tax hike down to just 6% or less. However, a lack of collaboration and open dialogue among county leadership is slowing progress, leaving residents concerned about the fairness and impact of these decisions.

We also discuss recent meetings where frustrations have boiled over, highlighting the importance of respectful communication and teamwork to solve these critical issues.

If you’re interested in understanding what’s happening with your tax dollars and what steps could be taken to move forward responsibly, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
