The Muddy Water Band is an Alabama-based outlaw country rock band that cut their teeth in the bars and hollows in the back country of the Appalachian Mountains. The members of the band, including lead singer/ songwriter Marcus Spurlock and drummer/ sometimes songwriter Heath McBride bring us a twist on the old country genre lyric on their new single “Working Man” which will be released on November 20 across all platforms worldwide. Their hard-rocking country is almost pure rock and roll notwithstanding the Everyman lyrics that tell the tales of blue collar folks just trying to make a living and provide for their family, along with some simple truths like not “loving someone like they used to” that most of us can relate to from one point in time to another in our lives.
With the chops of a veteran bar band, the looks of outlaw rockstars, and the lyrics of a “working man”, you’ll find yourself drawn in by this band’s live shows and we will see how it translates into recorded medium on November 20 thanks to production by Grammy-nominated David Hammonds of Cook Studios in Fort Payne, Alabama- the home of “mountain music”; if Muddy Water Band can keep up even a little bit with supergroup Alabama, you may be hearing and seeing a lot of this band over the next few years. -George Hartline, Gathering Moss Magazine

MOVIE MAGIC! Ok so before we start doing concerts or any other previously planned events, we are going to open with a couple of movies (and if you had bought tickets for Blues Brothers you can use for this or save for later). I think we will be able to do 15 seats, and I may do a 630pm show and an 815 or 830 show. We will sanitize, provide social distancing guidelines, and separate all guests by at least 2 seats. We can test this out and have some fun with it if possible ;) Also for concessions I will set up some barriers so that no one will be grouped up close.

It’s different but we’re in this together.movies help us escape and imagine a better future! And who knows you might make some new friends.
