Last Friday was cold and blustery, but the interpretive development team of Ed Malouf, Sarah Morris, and Boston Parks Department manager Priyanka Vankina toured the new Millennium Park in West Roxbury.

While attending the NEMA event at the RISD Museum last Thursday fellow designer Doug Flandro (center) was inspired to lead us to the great Buddha Mayavairocana. Both myself and Alexa Goldsworthy were in awe of this 12th century sculpture, the largest Japanese wooden sculpture in the United States. It is also known as Dainichi Nyorai with Dainichi meaning “Great Sun”.

To start the new year, Object|Idea and Content•Design will visit the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge to begin work on the new exhibit program for the Long Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex. This comprises 10 locations on the Island reserved for osprey, pine barrens, and green herons.
