Our Story
We began our journey in 2009.
Kewaan Drayton and John Taylor Timmons, brothers with different backgrounds but similar interests in the art of filmmaking, created Red Eye Film Productions. John dreamed of owning a professional film company his entire life, and when he met his adopted brother, that dream became a possibility, then eventually a reality.
Up until this point, John and Kewaan have been quite literally making art every day, constantly experimenting with and exploring original stories to tell, and new ways to tell them. After graduating college, they moved to Savannah to run Red Eye full time. They met Madison Abernathy, Red Eye’s Lead Producer, then found new team members, all from different cultures, backgrounds, and interests.
Now, as a team of eight, they create visual art on a much larger scale, growing every day.
