Our Story
Local Radio Show on Indigenous issues airing on WRUU-Savannah Soundings. 107.5 fm in Savannah or online at WRUU.org, Every Thursday at 4:00 PM EDT. Indigenous Voices on the Airwaves. A show created to educate settlers about Indigenous people as told by Indigenous people. We'll share our history and current struggles. We'll celebrate our successes and how we are working to heal and overcome 526 years of colonization and forced assimilation. Join us as we introduce Indigenous Voices from all over the globe. We will address very sensitive issues such as racism, genocide, sexual abuse, White Supremacy, etc. It is my intention to begin the long overdo conversation about the truth of how this land was taken from Indigenous Peoples and millions of our Ancestors killed and forcefully removed from our way of life, and that we can all begin to heal and move forward as the human race. Questions and comments can be sent through Facebook messenger or to [email protected].
