When it was time for Courtney Burke and Mitchell Ramos to scout wedding venues, the New Yorkers decided to travel further afield. Courtney always dreamed of getting married in the South, and as soon as she and Mitch pulled into Montage Palmetto Bluff for the first time, they knew they had found the right place.

Courtney wanted the celebration to evoke the feeling of a romantic and elegant garden. Pulling inspiration from her and her mother’s collection of Chinoiserie porcelain, the classic blue-and-white motif carried throughout the wedding details, from the florals to the tablecloths to the keepsake monogrammed napkins. The pièce de résistance, however, was the custom art piece behind the main bar, which elevated the design to something akin to a high-end hotel.
