Here's an eclipse update. Still looking at a chance for light showers and partly to mostly cloudy skies (40-80%) on Monday. Lowest cloud coverage looks to be across southwest portions of the area.

0800 hours 1/11/24 storm outlook for Friday night - Sunday.... NAM computer model for Winter Storm Friday daybreak to Sunday midday. Big storm...heaviest snow should remain in SE 2/3 of Lower Peninsula with over a foot possible. But EUP should see several inches (6"-8" widespread...but areas SE of Pickford could see few inches more especially late Friday night/Saturday early morning) of system snow before wrap around winds Saturday p.m. - Sunday produced substantial lake effect snow bands off wide-open Lake Superior and Whitefish Bay.
