“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”
After almost 3 years with the ESPN x TopRank boxing teams… this package has come to an end.
ESPN and Top Rank signed a 7 year contract that had its last fight in Manhattan this weekend. Our team was honored to be involved and help build the over these last three years and become part of a true family. No words can express the level of family, teamwork, talent, and hard-working humans that came together to make this package a reality.
So many laughs, triumphs, setbacks, tears, joy, experiences and the list goes on. The entry point for our agency was very much so a Cinderella story. Through the vast world of Internet media, we were discovered in 2017 from a viral hurricane live stream (zero relation to boxing or broadcast). The producer that found us was from Brevard County and watched for years as these “crazy camera guys” did all kinds of epic productions from her hometown. Fast-forward to 2023 and the phone rings with an invite to go to Las Vegas and establish a new camera for ESPN.
As cliché as it sounds, the rest is history. Over 50 fights and the foundation of an entire new direction for NPI Productions was built - a live stream broadcast team.
This weekend was filled with powerful moments, a lot of emotions and some speeches that will resonate with our team for the rest of our lives. The future is unknown… but opportunity is already knocking.
In this moment, we will continue to trust the process and follow this journey to the next open door! Thank you to every athlete, viewer, staff member, camera op, director, supervisor and ALL of the incredible people that made this possible for us.
The foundation has been built… and from the ashes something great will rise again 🔥🦈
