“As the oldest of five children with two working parents (one worked days, one worked nights), I probably envisioned myself as well capable of surviving life on the road (or the rails) like the Boxcar Children and their adventures. But one of the strongest draws for me beyond the constant characters’ need to figure things out and adapt was the joy of knowing after I finished one volume of the Boxcar Children, there was another waiting to be read!”
