Wise Music is thrilled to announce that we have signed an exclusive publishing deal with producer, composer, and artist Janus Rasmussen!

The solo output of Reykjavik-based producer Janus Rasmussen can be best understood as a distillation of his many diverse collaborations to date. Originally from the Faroe Islands, Janus has spent the last decade creating, performing, and innovating with other artists across myriad musical genres, amassing a wealth of experience and inspiration that is now plainly audible in his own melodic brand of experimental electronic music.

Aside from his own music, Janus performs alongside Ólafur Arnalds as one half of KIASMOS. The duo’s recorded output has gained worldwide acclaim and seen them invited to perform at many of the world’s major festivals. Janus also collaborates regularly with other members of Reykjavik’s growing music scene, acting variously as a producer, songwriter, musician, and mix engineer.

Janus shares: "Wise has been instrumental in shaping the landscape of contemporary classical and electronic music. I’ve been following their work in the industry for a while and have been very impressed by what I’ve seen. Today, I’m honoured to add my voice to this inspiring legacy."

Michael Ohst, managing director of Bosworth Music, says: “We are happy to work with Janus Rasmussen whose talent we greatly admire. We look forward to supporting him on his artistic journey.”

Welcome to the Wise family, Janus!
