We are thrilled to announce that Sofi Paez has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with us 🥰 Sofi Paez is a pianist, singer and composer born in San José, Costa Rica, currently based in Berlin. She experiments with piano, voice and electronic elements, using both the Spanish and English languages. In 2023 Paez gained recognition with her EP ‚Circles‘. Later in the year she was handpicked to perform at the live event. In May 2024 she released her debut album, ‚Silent Stories‘. She was the first artist signed to Arnalds‘ OPIA Community.

Unfortunately we have to share the news that Rod Argent official , the founder and keyboardist of The Zombies, has suffered a stroke. Following a recent UK tour and a joyful weekend celebrating his 79th birthday and 52nd wedding anniversary.

From The Zombies' Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction to performances at Glastonbury and Central Park Summerstage, Rod’s contributions to music are legendary. While the upcoming performances by The Zombies are canceled, we’re pleased to announce that the 2nd annual “Begin Here Festival” in St Albans, UK (November 8-10, 2024), will continue. This special event will now include a tribute to Rod, and Colin Blunstone’s November performances of his album "One Year" will proceed as planned.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to "The True Story of the Fake Zombies" podcast on iHeart Radio and the upcoming documentary "Hung Up On A Dream".

Fortunately, Rod is still here and working on a full recovery. To all of his fans out there Rod recently shared this note, “It is with a heavy heart that I can’t carry on with the live playing that I love so much, but want to emphasize that, after a couple of months, I do mean to carry on in the studio with writing and recording unabated, and with superb contributions from Colin, Steve, Tom and Søren.

Hauschka is known for breaking boundaries on how to use and express himself with the piano by adding ping pong balls, paperclips, what ever odd item that could help him get a more percussive sound that he was looking for. His performances are always engaging and incredibly unique and I would love to shine some light on this video and him as a masterful composer.
