The new location of the VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque brings together top-tier specialists—including oncologists, surgeons, and advanced care professionals—all under one roof in a state-of-the-art 28,000-square-foot facility.

This week on Pet Chat with Murad and Bobbi, the hosts sit down with Dr. Nancy McLean, the hospital’s Medical Director, to explore their cutting-edge services and the life-saving work they do every day. Plus, while they treat plenty of cats and dogs at the hospital, you might be surprised by some of the other patients they help. This past Saturday, KTRC’s very own Richard Eeds donned the Santa suit and worked his magic to help this lucky pup find their forever home. The event was filled with wagging tails, festive vibes, and heartwarming adoptions. A huge shoutout to the amazing team at Fe Animal Shelter for giving these pets a second chance and to everyone who came out to adopt or support—you truly made a difference!
