This past Saturday, KTRC’s very own Richard Eeds donned the Santa suit and worked his magic to help this lucky pup find their forever home. The event was filled with wagging tails, festive vibes, and heartwarming adoptions. A huge shoutout to the amazing team at Fe Animal Shelter for giving these pets a second chance and to everyone who came out to adopt or support—you truly made a difference!

Veterinary urgent care is a service patterned on the human urgent care model, providing walk-in outpatient care to pets who are sick and need treatment sooner rather than later.

On this episode, Richard welcomes Norm Gaume to discuss the science and impact of treating “produced water.” With his expertise in Waste Water and Water Management and a Masters in Civil Engineering, Gaume delves into a proposal by our state government to clean up "produced water" and reuse it. "Produced water" is highly toxic water that has been used in oil and gas production and it contains "forever chemicals" and is often radioactive.
