Let’s take a tour of Antarctica’s Historical Wordie House.
Ask yourself, would you live there?
The Wordie House, located on Winter Island in the Argentine Islands of Antarctica, is significant as it served as the main base for the British Graham Land Expedition from 1935 to 1936.
Named after Sir James Wordie, a geologist and polar explorer who was part of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, the house represents the early era of British scientific research in Antarctica.
Today, it stands as a historic site, preserved to educate visitors about early 20th-century Antarctic exploration and research, offering insights into the living conditions and scientific endeavors of the time.

After a cold night sleep in the van, we wanted to take a quick relaxing dip in a local hot spring before hitting the road again. So, @cultivationwithkristin and I headed to Travertine Hot Spring in Bridgeport.
It might have been 18f outside, but we still made it happen!
Let us know in the comments if you have been here before and if you would take a dip, even though it is 18f outside 🥶
Things don’t always go to plan, but your quiver can always be ready.
This is a story of some friends, making the most out of their trip south of the border, with a timber quiver in tow, and some big ass smiles on their faces.
Thanks @daltonjohnsonmedia for the beautifully shot film, and for sharing your story. Here’s to more adventures

It’s a van tour! Along the CA coast and armed with my first ever @gopro I wanted to take you all on a tour of my van. Check it out and let me know what you think of the build in the comment!
Also, if you have any questions about van life, please ask away in the comments or send me a DM
For two months, I traveled through Baja, Mexico in search of adventure. Surfing was the main goal, but for all those surfers out there, you know that not all trips go according to plan. Over the eight weeks, six of them were flat. Leaving only two weeks of waves.
Don’t get me wrong, that is enough time for some serious fun. While we weren’t searching for waves, we made the most of our trip by fishing, hiking, paragliding, and checking out new locations.
Along the way, I had the opportunity to bring along all of my @tamronusa lenses to document the story through Baja. This recap video, created with @timbersurfco , shares what a life chasing waves on the road can be like while creating content as an adventure photographer.
Give it a watch, make sure to turn your sound on, and please reach out with any questions you have about using a Tamron lens for video, traveling through Baja, or surf photography.
Thank you for making this trip a delight: @timbersurfco @tamronusa @tamrondamion @tamronstacieerrera @cayaquitossurfer

I wanted to try out a new rig (outside of my van) and had my eye on a @fourwheelcampers for its versatility, heater, and MASSIVE BED. So, when I decided to road trip the CA coastline to Joshua Tree, I figured I’d give it the college try.
To test this rig out, I bounced down dirt roads with @euphorically_wanderful , attempted to overflow the space with climbing and high-lining gear with @hippief_ck and @jasoncrist0828 , and finally surfed as much as possible in my week with the Hawk.
Along the way, I did my best to document the journey and here is what life can be like with a @fourwheelcampers
For the past three years, my main focus has been photography, however late-2021 was a break out year for myself and video. Dipping my toes in the water of video was nerve racking, but it’s worked out.
This hype reel, edited by @theouterkind , features some of the video assets I shot for the creation of the @fordbronco ambassador program.
For myself, going from a writer and photographer to a full on storyteller utilizing video, words, and photographs has been informative and fun. The ability to tell a grander story has caught my eye and I’m very excited for much of the upcoming work I have scheduled this year.

WHY DID I SELECT THIS IMAGE:
Since this month is February, aka Valentines Day is almost here, I wanted to share an image that conveyed the feeling of love, happiness, and freedom. What better way to show this off than a couple dancing during sunrise at one of America's most iconic locations, Glacier Point. With Yosemite's Half Dome in the background, Victoria and Bryce dance on the diving board. All in all, this image captures the loving, playful vibe I wanted to convey for the month of February in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
LOCATION:
If you decide that you want to visit this location, please make sure that you are careful as this location is dangerous for those who are unfamiliar with standing on a cliffs edge.
Thank you everyone for supporting my work 😊
Thank you!
Thank you for following along, engaging, commenting, connecting, and supporting me.
Thank you for making me better!
Thank you for the encouraging words!
Thank you for being kind, loving, and down right awesome!
Thank you for sharing my work with others, sending me message, letting me know what you all would like to see more of and less of.
Thank you!
For all of you visual learners out there, here is a short video on creating better silhouettes!
First, face subject into the sun. While counterintuitive and breaking the "rules" of photography 101, shooting into the sun to make the subject backlit.
Second, place the subject just above the horizon. This means, get your body on the ground if you have to. Heck, you will often find me rolling in the dirt to make this happen! Pro tip, don't wear your Sunday best while shooting.
Third, have a clean background. The key is to have the background be simple, clean, and bright. Sunset or sunrise works best for this. You can shoot midday, but shadows become complicated!
Thank you for tuning in and giving this a watch! Also, thank you @andrew__muse and @kickerdogmuse for being the model 🤙
Three considerations for vanlife…
1) How do you make money?
2) What do you live in?
3) Is it fun?
In this episode I go over a few critical and HUGE parts of vanlife. While living on the road has a ton of information all over the web and this is just a surface scratcher, it’s important to think about these three things!
If you don’t, success on the road is probably not going to happen for you, as you’ll have to stop earlier than you wanted!
It’s here. My biggest Print Sale EVER is happening from Nov. 22 - Dec. 5th.

Thank you all for supporting small business’ this Holiday!
If money was not an issue, what would you be doing everyday?
As life on the road has become my norm, I fill my days with fun, work, and curiosity. Through these three lenses I make my way through the day, typically finding something amazing I wouldn’t otherwise expect.
Todays gift was @mindbodywithleah taking the time to help me work out some chronic back pain I have had for the past few years. Turns out, my breathing, belly breathing, will be the driving habit to correct the pain.
Learning is cool!
Why do we take ourselves so dang serious?! Well, today, I decided to stop! After a sunrise shoot with capitalizing on the alpine glow, @andrew__muse allowed me to suit up and put some creative ideas into practice.
While I still need to edit the video and put out for you all. As well as finish up the shooting, there are still a couple of ideas in the trunk that need to be pulled out. I am already excited for how outlandish this thing is. My guess, I find this funnier than you, but, hey, who is comparing?!
Anyways, we wrapped the rest of the day up with a few fun shoots, took the dirt bike for a ride and did some donuts, and then had a very peaceful and PG photoshoot in a tent.
All in all, today was fun. Lots of content was made, and we just had a great time doing it! I hope you had a fun day 🤙
Shout out to @timbersurfco for getting a board to me quickly before heading to Baja!
Pancakes!!!
Quite honestly, today was a day of bopping around and making the most of it. This morning was a slow one focused on journaling, business strategy, and photo ideas. From there I finished a blog, drank coffee, stretched, and MADE PANCAKES!
I actually went into a deep dive of how to make pancakes my favorite way.
I met up with @andrew__muse and his adorable pup @kickerdogmuse Andrew drove to the Whitney portal from San Diego with a few packages for me from @tamronusa @kleankanteen and @timbersurfco so now we are set to head to Baja!
As the day progressed, I chased those two around in search of photos and epic landscapes. Pretty sure we nailed it. More for you all to watch and see here in the coming days!
Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful evening! Sleep well and keep being awesome 🤙🤙
