I was raised in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama. Among other jobs, I’ve worked as a probation officer, janitor and once spent a summer shovelin

g coke (the kind you use to make steel, not the kind you snort). However for most of my adult life, I’ve worked in the media as a writer, editor and publisher at newspapers in Tennessee and Florida. I’ve covered everything from local planning commissions and school boards to presidential elections and Florida’s first ex*****on by lethal injection. The purpose of TheBokey.com is tell the stories of Sanford and Seminole County — good and bad.
