Established by Curtis Hurley in 2009, Fang Studios is the premier recording studio in the Peninsula region of Northern California. Fang is a full-service studio with two live rooms and two control rooms on its premises. Located in San Mateo, the studio is easily accessible from anywhere in the Bay Area. Fang Studios has a wide assortment of analog and digital equipment. Stocked with both new and v

intage microphones from Neumann, Telefunken, Sennheiser, Shure, RCA, AKG, and Royer (to name a few), and a large collection of guitars, basses, amps, and other instruments, Fang Studios is equipped to record all varieties and genres of music. In 2015, Nick Loiacono joined Hurley as a full-time producer/engineer at Fang Studios. Not only having worked with enumerable local artists, Loiacono has recorded artists on Rise Records, InVogue Records, Metalblade Records, Nuclear Blast, Roadrunner Records, We Are Triumphant, and StandBy Records. I heard a very exciting thing today. Studio Circle/Studio B install is finished. Dolby ATMOS mix capability. 10+ channels. I’m talking moving/sweeping surround sound! What I heard today was pretty amazing..almost mind blowing! Will post pictures soon.
