The Strutters of Texas State University are the largest four year university dance team in the nation. dance team to perform in the People’s Republic of China.

The Texas State Strutters are the first precision dance team formed at a four-year university and is currently the largest in the nation. Since 1960, Strutters have served as ambassadors for Texas State University on state, national and international levels with performances in 26 countries spanning 4 continents. One of the most impressive honors was their selection as the first U.S. Other highlig

hts include: three Presidential Inaugural Parades, numerous NFL & NBA halftime performances, the nationally televised Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®, MTV’s Total Request Live, a national television commercial for Coca-Cola, appearances in five movies, and “America’s Got Talent.”

Last Saturday our game day girls were rookie Zoe and veteran Victoria! These girls are selfless leaders with the kindest hearts! Their hard work shows both in practice and while performing! Our ⭐️star of the stands⭐️ was Gabby. Anytime you look at the stands your eyes gaze towards her because she is always smiling and performing! Her radiant energy is so contagious! Good job ladies!

Last weekend the Strutters put on their annual fall show where you could see dances from the Pom squad, jazz elite, the high school’s varsity drill team’s, and our giant finale!! If you were able to make it we hope you enjoyed the show! If not, be sure to next year!

This Tuesday, October 29th is the Ragin Cajuns Vs. Texas State game at UFCU stadium at 6:30pm! If you cannot make it out to support the bobcats in person make sure to tune in on ESPN+ where you’ll catch the Strutters on your screen!

This past week our rookie game day girl was Riley, and our veteran game day girl was Yahire! These two girls are amazing teammates and are always prepared! Our ⭐️Star of the stands⭐️ was Madison! Madison always has a smile on her face and always is the first to offer to help others! The Strutters are so thankful to have such amazing leaders on the team!

Strutters Fall Spectacular is just around the corner and we still have some open slots for varsity high school dance teams! Teams will have an opportunity to take a masterclass from Strutters Director, take a tour of the Strutters Gallery, photo opportunities on a division 1 football field, and perform in the show!
