A brand new stadium is officially open at Palomar College!
We got to capture the new state-of-the-art softball stadium recently and just, WOW! 🤩
With seats for over 200 and so many great new features, this new softball stadium will provide a cherished new home for Palomar College athletes. Go Comets!

Geography Field Trip: Batiquitos Lagoon

Come on a quick visit with us and Professor Jain to the Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad for a hands on learning experience. 🤲🏼
What better way is there to understand an environment and learn geography principles than a field trip to see it in person?!
Stained Glass: Unraveling the Mystery with James Hubbell
Unfortunately one of San Diego's renowned artists, James Hubbell, recently passed away. He was well known for his nontraditional stained glass works, curved metal art for gates and sculpture, hand-carved wood doors, vibrantly colorful tile mosaics and imaginatively designed structures. His art was truly one of a kind.
We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to interview him and tour his amazing home for our Stained Glass: Unraveling the Mystery series back in 2012. It was an honor to not only meet him but to also capture his amazing art throughout the "habitable sculptures" or hobbit-like houses scattered across his Santa Ysabel property. Here's a throwback to that episode below!

If you missed Palomar’s Drone Safety Day, never fear - our video recap is here! 🙌🏼
Not only did this special day help promote best practices for drone safety, but students were able to pilot drones through unique obstacle courses, try different aircraft, and learn to fly simulations as well.
