Our documentary Almost Home - Film won another award! Thanks to the Impact DOC Awards for the recognition.

Wow, Almost Home has been honored with another award! 🤩

Thanks to the Impact DOCS Awards for recognizing our film with the Award of Excellence Special Mention - an award that is actually one of the top ten awards from this competition!!

They had this to say: "The judges firmly believe that your entry was exceptional, showing a depth of craft and creativity that is truly unique!"

This is just another testimony to all of the stories shared by those who appeared in our film - without them this film wouldn't have been possible. Your voices ARE being heard and you ARE helping in raising awareness.
Thank you!!

We know it's been awhile, but...
January is Human Trafficking Awareness month- a time to reflect on one of the darkest, yet most prevalent underground issues of our time. Did you know that right here in America there is a multi-billion dollar s*x trafficking industry affecting hundreds of thousands of lives?

Over 5 years ago, we released an Emmy award winning feature length documentary called "Shattered Dreams: S*x Trafficking in America" that reveals heart wrenching personal stories from survivors of the illicit s*x trade. Backed up by leading experts, the film explores the deep rooted psychological issues faced by survivors on a daily basis, in addition to the societal stigmas and misconceptions that allow this underground criminal enterprise to thrive.

If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s no better time than now - the full film is available for FREE!
Here’s the official trailer, but be sure to watch the full film on our site: www.shattereddreamsfilm.com

Every share can help raise awareness of this important issue, and even possibly save lives – so please pass along. 🙏🏽❤️

So amazing to see this recognition for our Rising Scholars Program!

WOW! The program, Rising Scholars, that is featured in our film just received a huge honor in the San Diego County area!

The County has declared December 10th as Palomar College Rising Scholars Day for the “outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to the citizens of San Diego County.”

What well deserved recognition for an amazing program we were so fortunate to highlight in our film.

We are excited to be starting a new documentary about the award-wining wildlife photographer Suzi Eszterhas! (Suzi Eszterhas Wildlife Photography)

The film will highlight the many adventures and challenges Suzi has experienced in the male dominated field of wildlife photography. Having lived in a bush camp in Africa for three years and photographed wild animals on all seven continents, Suzi has accumulated scores of adventure stories during her prolific career. Suzi is also the Founder and Executive Director of Girls Who Click, a non-profit dedicated to encouraging young women to enter the male-dominated profession of wildlife photography.

It’s going to be a great film! 🙌🏼 🐆🦍📸
