For fifty years, Borges Sleigh Rides have offered guests both wintery rides and city tours. Family and dog friendly, the hour long tours with a beach photo stop (winter) are the perfect addition to your Tahoe vacation.
The best part is absolutely the horses. And they are friendly, ask to pet them or even feed them a snack.

During the winter, the tours operate from @sandharborstatepark and in summer at @skiheavenly.
🚗Parking is paid and free, depending on availability.
⏰️When?
It's year round! Snow isn't needed for this magical experience.

An adorable snack shack is available at the winter location and you can bring your cocoa and goodies on board.

During your tours, the guide will share tidbits about the horses (mostly Belgians with a couple of Halflingers), the company and the area of Sand Harbor near @insideinclinevillage.
If you are heading to Tahoe and need an alternative to skiing or snowboarding, definitely book a sleigh ride. We had a wonderful time and the views could not be beat!
