Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Manfred Honeck! Their Bruckner: Symphony No. 7 and Mason Bates: Resurrexit recording made The New York Times Best Classical Music Albums of 2024! https://nyti.ms/4go4xr0

“Manfred Honeck and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra continue their remarkable run of recordings with this excellent tribute to Bruckner in the composer’s 200th anniversary year. Honeck’s reading is as creative as you might expect, but it is the astonishing quality of orchestral playing that makes this release downright extraordinary.” —David Allen

”Over the decades I have heard conductors try to impart the greatness of Bruckner’s music, and here’s one is completely successful. Honeck knows Bruckner inside and out.
