From Brooklyn to Berlin, many have made the jump, but few have had the trajectory to the German capital as Xiorro. With an unparalleled presence, style, and demeanor in the underground, DJ, producer and label head Xiorro is renowned for igniting revelry. Having begun his artistry in 2017 in Brooklyn’s then-vibrant underground, Xiorro’s current status as a Berlin-based DJ is illuminated by his impactful run in Brooklyn with ALKHEMY & the beloved warehouse and off-site rave series, The Black Hole, which he both co-founded. Now a fixture in Berlin’s fervent club scene, Xiorro has transitioned seamlessly into a resident role at RSO where he frequents regularly, picking up where he left off at with his residency when the club was known as Griessmuehle and located in Neukölln.

The inception of Xiorro’s Whirlwind Trax label in 2019 stands as an attestation to his commitment to interpreting techno through his own lenses. With releases that showcase both Xiorro’s own work as well as the work of label affiliates, Whirlwind Trax holds a catalogue of tracks that are sure to set a soundsystem ablaze. In tandem with a mixture of a desire to create a memorable experience with an affinity for the sheer excitement of techno, Xiorro now works on the continuance of The Black Hole now evolving into the ULTRANOVA club night series at RSO in 2024. Creating a community for the outcast of the outcasts, Xiorro is now focused on cultivating his own community within the Berlin ecosystem through his newly inaugurated night.

Sharlese, the Seattle-based DJ and radio host, thrives on the unexpected. The complexities and intricacies built within one of her sets start a dialogue between genres: from electro to EBM, Italo to techno, her vocabulary is vast but always dark. Sharlese’s DJing creates elegant moments in time in which to fall in love, to cry, to feel. Dance floors all over the world—including IFM in the Netherlands, Tresor West in Dortmund, Panorama Bar and Merge in New York City—have experienced her moody sets that ricochet between a seductive beat and uplifting synth patterns. Additionally, her DJ mixes for prestigious podcasts such as pi pi pi, Feinstoff, KIHDI and BITE have further shown her ability to invoke movement from the most unpredictable array of genres made for the sweaty dance floor.

Most of all, Sharlese’s respect and knowledge for music is deep, and it shows. She’s been working at the prestigious KEXP radio station for 17 years and is now a producer for The Afternoon Show, the Programming Education Manager, and is the host of Mechanical Breakdown, a show that emphasizes off-the-cuff underground and boundary-pushing music. Her club DJ career began in 2012 as a resident of Seattle’s industrial wave event, Second Sight; this experience, alongside hosting shows at Electric Tea Garden, built the foundation for her monthly party, Audiodrome, at the historic Pony. Held on the second Saturday of the month, Audiodrome is a collective that focuses on a variety of styles including Italo, wave, synth, electro and techno—all while streaming live via Intergalactic.fm.

False Prophet, Sharlese’s live event series, has been nurturing emerging and celebrated artists such as Josh Cheon, ADULT., Nuovo Testamento, Kontravoid, Kris Baha, Franz Scala and Spike Hellis for nearly a decade in Seattle. Additionally, her residencies with the PNW techno collective, secondnature and at Massive Club located in Capitol Hill in Seattle further attest to her dedication to her craft and unwavering pursuit to make bodies dance.

Gehno Aviance, also known as One A, is a DJ and producer deeply rooted in America’s electronic music scene. Originating from Spain, Gehno embarked on his DJ journey in 1992, garnering recognition at renowned East Coast events such as Ultraworld in Baltimore and Buzz in Washington DC. He played a pivotal role in the underground scene as part of the Snowball Collective, orchestrating notable events in the DC area.

Having lived in San Francisco for over 25 years, Gehno continued to refine his craft as a DJ and producer. Drawing from diverse influences including Techno, Acid House, and Hip Hop, Gehno crafts a unique sonic blend that captivates audiences. He has held residencies at prominent venues such as Housepitality and Underground SF, earning representation by Midnight Artists Agency.

Now based in Dénia, Alicante, Spain, Gehno is eager to connect with the Spanish and European underground community. His move has inspired him to infuse his music with new influences and perspectives, enriching his sound and expanding his artistic horizons.

Despite living abroad, Gehno remains actively involved in the US underground community, frequently returning to DJ at events across the West Coast. He collaborates with DJs, producers, and promoters, sharing stages with industry icons such as Honey Dijon, Ben UFO, Paul Johnson, Oona Dahl, Mark Farina, Lucretio, Michael Serafini, Ash Lauryn, Doc Martin, Francesca Lombardo, Mr C., and many more. Notably, Gehno has graced the stages of Burning Man, as well as iconic venues like 1015 Folsom in San Francisco and Now and Then in Brooklyn, where his eclectic sets have captivated audiences.”

An advocate in San Francisco’s q***r nightlife through various projects such as the s*x positive events of Fog City Pack (SF), booking the DJ stage for Folsom Street’s (SF) and producing D.C. based Black Techno Matters’ events in San Francisco.

The production powerhouse’s newest endeavor MÜLL (SF), is the culmination of decade of producing events in the bay area and is bringing a DIY feel back into San Francisco nightlife. "I'm a lil' bit acid house, and she's a lil' bit dub techno."

San Francisco transplant by-way of Los Angeles, Chuck Gunn is a co-founder and resident of QAOTIQ, a q***r rave based in California's Bay Area that aims to uplift and champion BIPOC/Trans artists. His fresh and spacey take on house and techno is shaped by the acid, dub and microhouse movements that grew out of 90's techno. Chuck moves through various textures, from rugged terrain, spaced out atmospheres, dub rhythms, all balled up in a bounce & grace that smacks the dance floor again and again, relentless you might say. For many this kind of built pressure can take decades in the DJ booth to develop. Gunn's range and skill can hold down any underground dance floor and it's obvious that we're not the only ones that have taken notice as Chuck plays up and down the West Coast at clubs & festivals alike.
