I had the honor directing this piece, telling the stories of seven San Franciscans whose lives were deeply impacted by San Francisco General Hospital — and I wanted to share.
These are real people.
Real moments.
Real reminders of what healthcare should look like.
Some needed a simple vaccination.
Others survived near-death trauma.
Some found support for addiction and mental health issues
💔 It’s hard to believe, but 1 in 8 people in San Francisco depends on this hospital for care. No matter who you are, where you're from, or what your situation is — ZSFG is there.
Each story was told as an individual piece for each person, but as a short film, I wove their stories together as a highlight combining snippets of each story. It’s emotional, it’s raw, and it’s filled with hope.
