New bike art tour plan for Sunday 1pm!

Lisa stepped in last minute to guide us through Lilac Alley and other near by murals which she has been involved with over the past couple decades. She is a wonderful story teller and has had a huge impact on our neighborhood. I’m really looking forward to hearing her tell all about the artists and alleys and how these amazing pieces of art came to be.

Meet at 1pm behind the 24th Street McDonalds with your bike or scooter.

Lucía’s Ride-Along Mural Tour

Grab your bicycle and ride-along with Lucía González Ippolito as she recounts all the stories behind her amazing mural collaborations in the Mission.

All are welcome for this easy pedal down 24th St., starting where she contributed to her first mural in Juri Commons. The tour is free, but donations for the artist are encouraged. Lucía will be amplified and broadcasting on low power FM. If you still have an FM headset or boom box bring it along to hear her commentary more clearly and allow us to spread out. RSVP and tag your friends in the comments.
