Ivan Gunawan has made significant contributions to Indonesian pageantry. Now that he has decided to step away from the pageant scene, it’s unfortunate to see someone of his caliber move on. El Tocuyo Award Organization wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Should he ever return to pageantry, it would be exciting to see him take on Miss Universe Indonesia or even launch a new international pageant representing Indonesia. Given the huge failure with Miss Coffee and Miss Estetik (Indonesia, you didnt!), as an emerging powerhouse in Asian beauty, Indonesia deserves a pageant that reflects its unique identiti.

Thailand has Miss Universe, the Philippines boasts Miss Earth and Miss Asia Pacific, Japan hosts Miss International, and Vietnam has Miss Charm and the amateur Miss Cosmo.

Indonesia must create its own international pageant as well, and Ivan Gunawanof no one better to lead such an initiative than Ivan Gunawan 🕊️

Paraguay hosting Miss Universe 2025 is already paid for half a million dollars, but the management ghosted him and worst - Paraguay is not included on the list of host countries announced by Anne. I know that the brand is in need for money. But getting money by stealing will not do any good in the future. I believe Miss Universe will end soon. They reaping a lot on the brand and slowly killing it. If Anne is desperately needed to win the crown for Thailand, go ahead and crown a Thai Queen. But please sell the brand as soon as possible. Anne buying the MU brand is already bad, it gets worse when she sold half of it to Raul. And i cannot imagine what the future holds. They bought Miss Universe even if they do not know how to handle it properly. This is just all money now.
