My Story
Andrew grew up in the Bay Area and learned to play the piano and guitar at an early age. After returning to Oakland in 2012, he quickly earned a reputation as one of the most versatile and skilled multi-instrumentalists in the Bay Area. His ability to help musicians realize their visions lead him to work with a number of major bands and multimedia artists while he forged his own sound.
For years he has been a creative member of Kev Choice Ensemble, and Emily Afton, and a performing musician with Jazz Mafia. His previous projects have booked shows at Outside Lands, Fox Theater Oakland, The Chapel, and more. Andrew Levin is building on this success and has played Bottom of The Hill, Starry Plough, and The Uptown with his latest project. His music is inspired by the sounds of Björk, Leon Bridges, and Prince, you can hear this in his most recent 5 song EP.
Currently based in San Francisco, Andrew is creating experimental electro-acoustic-pop music. His passion for keeping creativity alive and well in his hometown has made him an advocate for the arts. Over the years he has experienced a lot of personal struggles, and music has always been a constant he could rely on. Thus art and creativity in the city have been something he believes is worth fighting for.
