Please welcome, Studio at Play ☻
At the beginning of this year, I had set out to create RGB as this entity that would allow me to target larger clients and explore avenues of design that I hadn’t before. However, over the last 6 months, I have been finding myself really confused and directionless. And because of this, I have been dealing with some pretty nasty mental health issues.
So I have been doing a ton of soul searching and trying to identity what my goals are for my design career and how I envision the next 5-10 years. Through all my exploration I found that I kept going back to this idea of q***r joy and spreading q***r joy. That’s when I decided that I wanted to really focus my sights on working with the LGBTQ community and minority owned organizations.
However, some things just never clicked into place the way that I envisioned. So I sat down again and realized that the studio I was creating, didn’t fit with my new path. And after months of trying to figure this all out, I came up with Studio At Play. My dream for Studio at Play is to create a design playground where we can work with clients to create fun, vibrant, uplifting content that can spread this joy and happiness. When I am designing at my full potential, I feel like a kid. I feel like I revert back to this 10 year old boy playing on the playground with his friends, exploring, experiencing, and just enjoying life. And I am really privileged to have a career in which I get to experience these feelings. And I want to help other brands and business owners to create these safe spaces for themselves and their followings.
So if you know anyone that needs any help with brand design or website design, please reach out. I hope that I can get your support in this new journey.
