India Street Press is the new moniker for Mannequin Vanity Publishing, the book publishing imprint of Mannequin Vanity Records. Mannequin Vanity Publishing will continue to exist as a music-only publishing and licensing entity. A little history of our little company: Our very first literary project, ORFAN, the novel by Corie Skolnick came to us in 2008 as a way that our parent company, indie recor
d label, MANNEQUIN VANITY RECORDS could break into audio book production. We created MVP the indie book publisher in 2010 to publish the print version and ebook. ORFAN is now in development as a feature film by the makers of many fine movies including Bull Durham, White Men Can't Jump, and Tin Cup. You can buy the original audio book version of ORFAN now from audible.com. Our second full length fiction publication, the novel IS THAT ALL THERE IS? by Patricia Mann caught the attention of another major publisher in 2014. We were happy to help launch Patricia's first book and happy to see her success. You can find her books now under Women's Contemporary Fiction at booktrope.com (Note: the artists who work with us NEVER lose their rights. We believe that everyone should be exactly where they want to be and artists should never lose creative control of their art.) Our third major project is Corie's second novel, AMERICA'S MOST ELIGIBLE, out on Memorial Day, 2015. You'll just have to read the book to find out why. We have a couple more things on the horizon. In the end, a name is just a name. What matters is what you do. We believe that you should love your work whatever it is. That's why we work hard to play hard and we are always fair to the musicians and writers who work with us. For more information about them visit our parent company website MannequinVanityRecords.com
