Listen Local was established in San Diego in October of 2003 by singer/songwriter, entertainment coordinator and radio personality, Cathryn Beeks. Her mission continues: to get music lovers out and listening to the amazing music being created in San Diego, The High Desert, and beyond. For almost 2 decades, Listen Local has worked to promote interest from the public, offer exposure, networking oppo

Listen Local has been proudly serving San Diego's local music community since October of 2003 producing music festivals, songwriter showcases, radio and web shows, kid's shows, cookbooks, calendars, music compilations, camping events and a weekly blog to help share the music being made in San Diego. Besides continuing to introduce you to San Diego's inspiring residents, beginning in 2020 the show will seek and share music, art, and creative people from Big Bear and the High Desert, too.
