We spent the night at one of our all-time favorite camp spots, American Girl Mine, with its breathtaking scenery. We love this area and make it a point to stop here whenever we pass by.

Our trip to the Romp It Up with The Border Hookups has come to an end, and what a fantastic experience it was! We had a wonderful time meeting new friends, enjoying fun activities, and listening to incredible live music from so many talented artists all weekend. Huge thanks to Dave and Jacqueline for being such amazing hosts—we had a blast!

On a side note, Episode 4 of our Alaska series, featuring Jade City, will be delayed a bit. We're working on the final details and will release it as soon as it’s ready. Thank you so much for your patience and support as we catch up on everything!

Hi everyone! We’re back on the road and arrived at Cineguita Campground last night, checkout this peaceful campsite. We’ll be staying here for a couple of days before heading to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds on Wednesday for a music festival with The Border Hookups here in Arizona. Is anyone else here with us? We’re looking forward to meeting new friends!

Our Final Stop Before Heading Home: Grand Teton National Park!

We made the short drive down to Grand Teton and camped at Moran Vista. We arrived after dark, so we didn’t have a chance to check out the better campgrounds off Forest Road 30290 (Spread Creek). They were likely full by then anyway. Moran Vista worked perfectly for us and offered great access to the park.

The weather was ideal—mid 70s during the day and crisp low 40s at night. We had plenty of sunshine and didn’t need to run the generator for almost two weeks! The fall colors were absolutely stunning, and the whole area was incredibly beautiful.

After Grand Teton, we headed south to a Harvest Host, then made the long 510-mile haul to St. George, where it hit over 100°F. We grabbed a full-hookup site—boondocking in that kind of heat wasn’t appealing.

We made one last stop in Vegas to get the truck and trailer washed at Blue Beacon. It was affordable and definitely worth it. Nice to be home without all that Alaskan dirt! 😄

We're winding down our epic journey, but the adventure continues! 🚐 We said goodbye to Big Sky Country and made our way to the iconic Yellowstone National Park. We found the perfect boondocking spot at Targhee Creek (a bit of a bumpy ride in, but worth it!) and spent a glorious weekend exploring the park. The weather was perfect, the wildlife was abundant, and the fall colors were just starting to show – it was truly magical! And to top it off there were not huge crowds of people (there were plenty of people, just not the usual hoards) .

Next up we will travel down to Grand Teton and enjoy a week there before making the final push south to San Diego.

👋 From Banff to Big Sky Country! 🇺🇸

We bid farewell to beautiful Banff and headed south towards Waterton Lakes National Park. 🇨🇦 The border crossing at Chief Mountain was a breeze, and then we were back in the USA! 🇺🇸

Glacier National Park was next on the list, but St. Mary Campground was full. 😕 Luckily, we snagged a spot at Heart of Glacier RV Park - not too far from the park and a nice place overall, even though we had to switch spots on day two. The highlight? Reuniting with our friends Steve and Jane from Golden Anniversary under the starry sky and catching another glimpse of the Aurora! 🤩 We even managed to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road this time – what a view! 🌄

Finally, we camped at Big Sandy Campground in Montana, near Helena. It's a beautiful spot right on the Missouri River, even though they're out of water (we came prepared!).

Next stop: West Yellowstone... stay tuned for more adventures! Yellowstone here we come!

From Jasper to Banff: Awe-inspiring beauty & wildlife encounters! 🇨🇦🏔️🦌

Driving down from Jasper, we were deeply moved by the sight of the burned forest – a stark reminder of nature's power, but also its resilience. It's heartbreaking that the fire impacted the town so severely.

Then we headed to Lake Louise and stayed for a few nights. The first day was rainy, but the weather cleared up, revealing the area's unbelievable beauty. The water colors were simply mesmerizing!

Our final Banff stop was Tunnel Mountain Campground. With 618 campsites, a 360-degree tour was tempting but time didn't allow. We still enjoyed some wildlife sightings, including that majestic bull elk "herding" his harem on the golf course!

Next up: a drive through Waterton Lakes National Park, crossing the border at Chief Mountain, and heading to Glacier National Park for a few days. We were last there in the spring of '22 and can't wait to experience the fall colors and drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road again!

Backtracking the Alaska Highway: Dawson Creek, Jasper & Banff Bound! 🇨🇦

We're loving this southbound journey, experiencing the Alaska Highway in reverse! 🚐 Had a cozy night camping at the Buffalo Inn, then explored Dawson Creek (Mile 0!) & the unique Kiskatinaw Bridge. A highlight of this segment was reuniting with our friends Golden Anniversary at Mile 0 Park! ❤️ Now, we're overnighting at Jarvis Lake (we saw a black bear and her cubs- but could not get to the camera quickly enough!) before a scenic drive through Jasper (no stops due to fires, sadly). Banff is next on the list...we haven't been in 20 years!

Update - From Watson Lake to Liard Hot Springs and Muncho Lake's Fall Colors 🍁

Hi adventurers! Our southward journey continues, with stunning fall colors still gracing the landscape, though more vibrant up north. 🍂 We made a stop at Watson Lake to hang our sign on the iconic Signpost Forest - a must-do tradition! 🪧 Then, it was on to the relaxing Liard River Hot Springs, followed by a picturesque drive to Strawberry Flats Campground. Talk about lucky – we snagged one of the last vacant spots, recently vacated by our good friends Steve and Jane of ‪Golden Anniversary

This stretch of the drive has been absolutely gorgeous, blessed with mostly sunny days and warmer temperatures than we've seen in weeks. ☀️ We even spotted a majestic herd of buffalo along the way! 🦬

From Tok to Dawson City - We're on Top of the World! Next Stop: Watson Lake

Adventurers, buckle up for a quick update on our epic Alaskan journey! 🚐 We had a blast meeting up with the incredible Golden Anniversary in Tok, and we're thrilled to be caravanning with them for a bit. Plus, while enjoying a meal at Fast Eddie's, we unexpectedly ran into Jarhead & Ginger’s Journey What a small world! 🌍

Next, we're venturing to Chicken, AK – one of the most remote destinations on our itinerary. We'll be joining Dean and Lamonda Harris at the picturesque Walker Fork Campground for an exciting 3-way caravan to Dawson City via the iconic Top of the World Highway. 🏞️

Dawson City was truly magical! Two days of clear skies blessed us with a breathtaking display of the Northern Lights 🌌, and we even summoned the courage to try the legendary Sourtoe Cocktail (yes, Dang took the plunge too! 🥃).

Currently, we're making our way down the Alcan towards Whitehorse, taking a well-deserved break at Pioneer Campground with full hookups and amenities. Then, we'll head east to Watson Lake, straddling the Yukon and BC border.

Fantastic Fairbanks! 🥰

We arrived amidst occasional showers and settled into Olnes Pond Campground in the Lower Chatanika River recreation area. It felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time, and being just 20 miles north of Fairbanks offered the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Moose sightings were a near-daily treat! Our Fairbanks adventures included: braving the Dalton Highway (in the pouring rain!), a much-needed (and pricey!) car wash afterwards, relaxing at Chena Hot Springs, exploring the Fairbanks Museum of the North, and even some souvenir shopping at the North Pole at the Santa Clause Shop! We had an absolute blast.

Next up: a Harvest Host stay at Delta Meat and Sausage, then a rendezvous in Tok with ‪‬ Golden Anniversary We might just conquer the Top Of The World Highway – stay tuned!

Denali has welcomed us with a mix of rain and breathtaking moments. We've been lucky enough to witness the mountain in all its glory, both peaks clear against the sky. Wildlife encounters and exploration have filled our days, even with the drizzle.

We splurged on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, and it was worth every penny! Our guide was fantastic, sharing fascinating insights about the local wildlife and history. Plus, we lucked out with the only sunny day of our trip, making it an unforgettable experience.

Up next: we're venturing north of Fairbanks, chasing the elusive Aurora Borealis. Fingers crossed for clear skies!

We had a whirlwind visit to Homer - delicious meal, a beer at the iconic Salty Dog Saloon (look for our sticker!), and some amazing drone footage coming soon to a video near you! 🚁

Next, it was off to the Russian River Campground for our last night before they closed for the season. The light mist made for perfect hiking weather, and we even saw salmon jumping at the falls! 🐟 This campground is a definite favorite - highly recommended!

We then headed north, passing Anchorage and arriving in Palmer just before the State Fair. The excitement was palpable as everyone prepared for this big event. 🎉

Now we're enjoying a few nights of Harvest Hosting in Willow before our week-long Denali adventure. Get ready for some incredible videos! 🏞️
