Happy to have been a fly-on-the-wall for this video interview with a former Marine Corps helicopter pilot tasked with flying the President of the United States around during his presidency. The interview was part of a video project was putting together for the . There was so much history in his stories about the President, it was so enjoyable to hear them.

Collaboration

Here are some still frames pulled from separate video interviews. The interviews were part of a video project .mn was putting together for and it required catching up with some of the universities alumni.

CWORK Media was brought on to coordinate an interview (the woman in white) with an alumni participant that lived in Southern California and VENN coordinated the interviews in other parts of the country. It was a pleasure to be part of the project and meet some very interesting people.

Here are some situations for Communication Managers or Marketing Team Leaders to consider when planning your organizations next professional function.

If the participants of your event would find value in receiving photos of themselves at the event, you may want to consider providing them with higher quality photography than that of your phone. Don’t get me wrong, our phones are very capable of creating high quality photos but you may want to consider leveling up if it better represents your company’s culture.

Higher profile events may require higher quality photography. The community DSLR in your communications department may satisfy every day social media posting, but if higher profile company stakeholders are present, you may consider leveling up your visuals.

Lastly, if you anticipate having to be several places at once during the event, regardless of the size of the event, consider bringing in a professional photographer to help lessen the burden of providing proof the event was a success!
