Good day, everyone,
We’ve reached an incredible milestone: an African American woman has made history as the first female vice president of our country and is now running for president. These achievements show the progress we’ve made, yet it’s unsettling to see that deep-rooted prejudice still exists.
Rumors are circulating across the United States about White Supremacy groups targeting people of color—especially women—from now through Inauguration Day. This is deeply disturbing. Regardless of who you support or vote for, every individual’s right to make their choice deserves respect. Engaging with ignorance rarely leads to positive outcomes.
Let’s remember that skin color does not define a person’s character. No race, ethnicity, or class is free from faults or virtues; every community has people of integrity, kindness, dishonesty, and cruelty. Harmful stereotypes about people of color—such as lacking intelligence, coming from broken homes, or being criminal—are just as baseless and unjust as any prejudice against other groups. Evil knows no boundaries, and it does not discriminate.
Our country has a painful history, but it’s time to leave it in the past. We must stand together, united as one nation. If you hear or know of any threats, please alert authorities—speaking up is essential, as silence can enable harm.
The world is watching, and we cannot afford to let division weaken us. Will we allow the mistakes of our past to dictate our future? Let’s ensure that all Americans, of every background, are safe and respected.
Take care and stay strong.
