Here is something different I have in my studio which I have been slowly restoring. It is working now, just haven't had time to go thru it yet to learn how to use all the buttons and k***s etc.
Rarer and even lesser known than my Teisco SX-400,
this is Opensynth NEKO by Open Labs, introduced in 2003 at NAMM it was the first of its kind. Designed to run 100+ VST's and DX plugins at once, Multiple DAW's, Dual 64bit CPU's, 500 voice poly, 170 Tracks Recording, 1TB HD capacity, 15" full color touch screen, Firewire and High speed USB, Modular control surfaces, it was the ultimate workstation of its era and well ahead of its time. I still have one Potentiometer to replace, 2 keyboard keys, and I need to find a slider cap and joystick handle k**b for it, otherwise its almost 100% again!
The audio in the video clip is the actual sound coming from it in this quick sample video.

Quick no talking Demonstration of the NEkO by Openlabs.A dual CPU PC/Windows XP computer based Synthesizer.

Started making new videos to feature some of my synths, this one is all Yamaha CS80, no talking, no drum machine, no sequencer, no midi, no cv, nothing else.... just 100% CS80!
I plan to make a couple more vids with the CS80 featured, another where its used with other gear and one showing off (with explanation/talking) its controls and features while playing notes and examples. I did a video not long ago for Syntaur (Where I do tech work) Featuring the CS80 but in that video I did a Blade Runner tribute followed by a full control panel overview with explanations of every single control on the synth but not much actual note playing, stay tuned for more videos! The CS80 is so amazing that you really cant show it off all in one video, I'll be making at least 2 more soon.
For now, enjoy "Weightlessness" performed by me on the CS80.
Entirely made up and improvised on the fly in one take off the top of my head.

Ron Mark Peters plays the Yamaha CS80 alone, with no other instruments at all! Completely to show some of the CS80's true players live performance abilities....

Played "Alpha" last night in the studio using the CS80 and SX240 with the Lexicon for delay and reverb as a tribute.
Sad that Covid took such a great composer and musician.
