What a week! Seve’s been off at camp, Covid knocked me down for almost 4 days. It started with a sore throat the morning of my bike ride in Castroville last week. I finally emerged on Wednesday and tried some excer ise which made me feel tons better. The run not so much on my lungs. And I finally got to spend some mommy and me time with Stretch. We went to Fiesta Texas and mini golf. How was your week?

Kangaroos, llamas, bears, oh my!! lol 🤪 , no bears but did see Kangaroos, llamas and horses on our hill ride today. Just wanted to share the photos. The kangaroo had a baby in her pouch. There were at least a dozen more roos further in the back yard. Enjoyable first ride back in over a week with this strong bunch. Thanks .motiv8 Shad & the others in the group for letting ride your wheels!! 😹

What a treat! I never get to ride on Sundays. But today day I got out for 31 miles! So enjoyable outside!! Have a great Sunday and a great week! It’s so nice, I think I’ll do some gardening…maybe.
78 degrees in February =>Must do outdoor ride. Excellent day! Great company. Lots of headwinds on the way back, but still finished 52 miles, 2270 feet of climbing. These temps are here all week! Yep, I’ll be outside riding again.

Ride. January 18. 71 degrees. It’s a no brainer. South Texas winter, thanks for sprinkling us with a few glorious days in between the cold. It wasn’t a fast ride and only 36 miles, but we soaked up every second of it. Oh, it was Bert’s birthday ride today, too. Happy birthday Bert!
When all else fails. Lift. Actually I love lifting. I don’t build muscle quickly but I’ve done it enough I know results will@ come with consistency. I finished my 8 Week program. Now I’m starting a new month long routine. I’m sore in all new different places. Love that.
On a different note, why is IG giving me a crappy selection of music that I’ve never heard of to add to any post/reel.. do I need to uninstall and reinstall the app to get regular, known artists?

No bike shorts, cleats, enough water or plans to cycle, but we rented bikes and headed up the iconic #MtLemmon in Tucson. Fun climbs!! Scary descents with winds that seemed to want to blow us off the road 😬. Loving this #uswevest to get me out of a bind, with just enough water to get me to the top. We only did top half of the climb. Always dragging the hubs on memorable adventures. 😆 Finished the day by the pool!

Everybody talks about that “why”.. MY “WHY” …. …I did not exercise today. 😂 Actually if you could see the sweat, this was serious work! I either really love my bike or hate it so much I don’t care if TSA destroys it. Only two injuries sustained after this multi multi hour endeavor. Bruised foot where the bike hit me, and aggravated a prior shoulder impingement. Otherwise, unscathed. Now I see why most people pay someone else to do this for them. But I was determined to travel with my bike. I’ve seen others do it, so why not. Wish me luck on the other side. I’m not too confident right now. 😰
