Hello Everyone…I hope everyone is doing well…I am here to announce our next Kickstarter. Over the past year we have been bringing back a multitude of original Japanese Manga. This includes Cat S**t One, World War 3, Magical Sisters.
Well…we are releasing the next in the MONKEY PEAK SERIES Special VOLUME 4 of the HARDCOVER ENGLISH VERSION ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH KICKSTARTER

We are offering the book through Kickstarter before its general release. As you know getting books like this out is difficult for an indy publisher and this helps us meet the cost of royalties, printing etc.

It is with a heavy heart that I saw the Diamond Comics Distribution has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection. It appears that Diamond and its creditors have a plan to hopefully emerge from Bankruptcy and I hope the process goes as smoothly as possible for them.

I know that in situations like this people will have a myriad of differing opinions and the pundits will have their spin on things. All I know is that things like this involve multiple corporate entities and businesses that will be jockeying around but also will affect many individuals who will be directly and indirectly impacted.

We hope they emerge successfully; we have been a supplier to Diamond for many years, I can regale you with the numerous stories and people we have dealt with at Diamond over the years, as many of you know we are one of Diamond’s oldest suppliers (our vendor number is 21) but I will not bore you with our many interactions. Just like many things in life, they were not perfect, we were not perfect, but we mostly worked well together, and they always treated us with respect.

I, personally, look forward to seeing what new and exciting things they have in mind as they emerge, and I hope Antarctic Press can be part of the journey. because I do know they have a love and appreciation for the comic industry as we do.
