Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well…everyone in the Antarctic is hanging in there. I am here to announce our next Indiegogo campaign. It is a celebration of our 40th year of publishing with the history of Antarctic Press and some special add-ons associated with it.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-history-of-antarctic-press-40-years-in-comics/x/3343829 #/

I will be honest this is not the way we wanted to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We originally had a multitude of plans that we were going to do over the past year which included our Birthday Bash we had this past March (thank you if you attended). But many of our plans and ideas have gone to the wayside mostly due to the bankruptcy of Diamond Comic Distribution who was our largest customer. I will not go into the bloody details but as a small independent publisher, the financial toll of this process has not been financially positive as you can guess. While we believe we have survived this turmoil without losing any of our people who help keep AP running we could not pull off the many things we wanted to do.

As we enter this new phase of publishing with new distributors, we wanted to still try to celebrate as best we could despite the circumstances, Andrew Garland has written a thorough and thoughtful HISTORY OF ANTARCTIC PRESS which we now present as an Indiegogo Campaign which will help us keep on going. We hope you can support this endeavor and if not as usual a shout out is all we ask. Thanks for your support.
