It’s been a little over a year since my family and I traded Poke and beaches for BBQ and rodeos. We took more time than expected to get settled into our new home in Texas, but now that we finally have a routine going, I am super excited to start creating and working with amazing couples again! It’s so refreshing to have a clean slate to work from and establish goals for the next phase of my journey. I guess you could call it Alos Films 2.0. ✌🏻
✍🏻My daughter Kaedyn mentioned that I don’t write things down enough, so here are a few goals I’m currently working toward:
1️⃣Limiting the number of couples that I work with every year going forward. I am thinking around 8-10. This should allow the creative process to flow and for me to feel more fulfilled with the work that I put out.
2️⃣Loosen up things up around here and show myself more often! 🤙🏻
3️⃣Establish Alos Films in Texas as well as branch out beyond. Adventure elopements are my vibe!

❤️My heart is still in Hawaii, and I still plan on serving out there based on my availability.

I first met Lauren when she was playing violin with the Kai String Quartet at a wedding in 2021. We spoke briefly as I was setting up my audio recording device nearby to where they were performing. Little did I know, our quick interaction would lead to Lauren reaching out a few months later to film her own wedding! 🥂

Austin and Lauren's wedding day started off with a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony at Sacred Hearts Church followed by a stunning reception at a family owned Private Estate overlooking the ocean. We also spent an extra evening together capturing vows, intimate shots, and getting to know more about each other. It truly feels great to be able to share and connect with people that are doing amazing things for our local community. 🤝
