First workout of the year & I’m trying to be gentle with myself 😮‍💨

I was NOT anticipating to be on rest for SEVEN Weeks, but my body genuinely wasn’t ready to get back to my busy lifestyle. I’m so grateful for the job I’ve built that allows me to have the schedule I needed to prioritize my health. I was patient and knew I would get back in the gym when I was ready.

This is just your reminder to listen to your body. It will always tell you what it needs and when it can be pushed. I hope you find the space that allows you to recharge, that’s what the gym is for me and I’m so glad to be back, no matter how slow we have to take it 🥲

As some of you may have noticed, I have been extremely absent from my platform. I’ve been hesitant to film because I felt like I wasn’t ready to be honest about my struggles.

I’m ready now.

Life update:

I have been without a cell phone now for 14 DAYS!

As a Content creator, and a social media manager, it has been VERY time consuming for me to get any work done. 😅

HOWEVER, I have absolutely loved being disconnected. Not constantly feeling the need to check my phone, or my socials. I so often found myself checking all of the accounts by habit and not ever allowing myself any real time to relax and unwind.

I’ve also been less accessible to friends and family. Now, when I see them we’ve gotten to spend genuine time catching up, without my phone being a distraction.

I’ve really been living in the moment the past two weeks. I’ve also had zero sense of time 😂 I even told my dad I was considering getting a beeper because the break has been so nice.😂

with that being said, my new phone is on the way 😔 And while it will make my work life much easier, I really will miss the freedom of being unplugged.

Don’t let the pressure of being present online take away from your presence in real life 🫶🏼
